What it is
Treatment Apartments are apartments in Dunkirk, Gowanda, Jamestown, Olean and Wellsville. You live on your own while staff work with you on the skills to live independently. Staff are on call 24 hours a day.
What you'll work on
The same services as our Community Residences, but in your own apartment:
- Daily living skills training: cooking, budgeting, keeping a home
- Medication management and training
- Health services and symptom management
- Rehabilitation counseling and skill development
- Socialization and community integration
- Self-advocacy and assertiveness training
- Substance abuse services
- Parenting training and resource development
Who it's for
Treatment Apartments are designed for adults who:
- Have a primary psychiatric diagnosis meeting DSM criteria
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Can manage personal hygiene with minimal physical assistance
- Can get around independently. Assistive devices welcome
- Are medically stable and free from major medical problems
