You choose where and how you live. STEL supports you and your goals as you live independently:
- Help locating and securing an apartment anywhere within the county of placement
- STEL provides the security deposit
- A monthly rental stipend paid to your landlord
- Assistance purchasing new furnishings for your home
- Flexible support planning designed to assist in areas that are important to you
Who it's for
Supportive Housing is designed to serve households of all types and sizes — for adults who:
- Have a primary psychiatric diagnosis meeting DSM criteria
- Are 18 years of age or older
Housing readiness:
- Are able and reliable in self-administering medications
- Are linked with entitlements, or actively working on linkages
- Are psychiatrically stable and capable of emergency self-preservation
- Have the basic skills to live without direct supervision
